I am trying to link my ticket from my sisters account to my account and it is showing that I enter an invalid ID number after I scan the barcode to link the ticket to my account and it also does this when I manually enter the ticket number.

Welcome to planDisney, Cory! Thanks so much for coming to us with your question today. Your tickets are going to be one of the most important parts of your Walt Disney World Resort vacation, and I'm happy to help you out if you're having some technical issues with them within the My Disney Experience app. Let's jump right in and get started!

Cory, if your sister has already added a ticket to her My Disney Experience account, you won't be able to add the same ticket to yours by entering the ID number. It may still be possible to reassign the ticket though! Have your sister open up her My Disney Experience app and tap on the main menu in the bottom right corner. Tap on the "Tickets and Passes" tile and scroll to the ticket that you want in your account. There should be an icon underneath the ticket that says "Reassign Ticket" and she can tap on that and reassign it to you if you are linked as Family and Friends in My Disney Experience.

If you run into any further issues or the "Reassign Ticket" option is not available, you can call the hotline for Existing Tickets and a friendly Disney Cast Member will be able to help you out from there. They can help you troubleshoot any problems that you're having and give you all the options to get some valid admission into your account.

    Have a magical day, Cory!

In fact, we even opted out of a tropical honeymoon to spend a blissful week at Walt Disney World Resort instead! I'm thrilled to be on the planDisney Panel and I'm excited to share everything I've learned from all of our trips and help you plan a memorable family vacation.  Learn More About Jessica
