I am trying to Link my resort reservation. It says it is already linked to my wife's account. Can we both have access to the resort information?

    Hey there, Daniel!

Thanks for bringing your question to us at planDisney! I hope you and your wife are looking forward to your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

One of the features I most appreciate about My Disney Experience is the ability to connect everyone who's vacationing with you at Walt Disney World Resort through the Family & Friends list. It makes for a great way to make and manage plans together. Let me offer some quick tips that I hope can help you see the plans that you and your wife have arranged.

My first suggestion for you would be to take a look at your My Plans area in your My Disney Experience and look for the "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets" section. This is where you can view your Disney Resorts Collection hotel reservation, and you might find that it's already displaying there for you.

If you don't see your Resort reservation, my suggestion is that your wife sign in to her My Disney Experience account and go to her My Family & Friends List. Depending on how the Disney Resorts Collection hotel booking was made, it's possible your name is already listed there, and if not she can use the "Add a Guest" feature to add you to her list. I'll note that if she uses the "I'll enter their name and age" option, she'll want to enter an age of 18+ to display the option to send you an email invitation. If you take that approach, you'll receive an email with a subject like "You have a Family & Friends invitation to join in on Walt Disney World vacation planning." You'll want to accept the email invitation and then you'll be connected. You should now be able to see, share, and manage plans in the My Plans area of your My Disney Experience account.

I hope these tips help you, Daniel. In the event they don't address the issue, you can reach out to the Walt Disney World Internet Help Desk team by calling (407) 939-4357. You can also reach out to them through the chat service online.

One more tip I'd like to offer, Daniel, and that is to be sure to make your Walt Disney World Resort theme park reservations using the quick and easy Disney Park Pass system. Once you and your wife have theme park reservations, you can view them on the Daily Itinerary in the My Plans area of My Disney Experience.

Daniel, here's wishing you and your wife a fantastic Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
