Welcome to planDisney, Ellen!
This is a great question--so glad you asked!
When
Walt Disney World guests purchase images from
Disney PhotoPass Service, they can download those images of park fun in a matter of minutes--sometimes even sooner. Those downloaded images are the ones you should share with family and friends--or the world!
Folks on your Family & Friends list will see the watermarked images in their
My Disney Experience account and in their
My Disney Experience App. Only the guest who purchased the images--either individually or through the all-inclusive package
Memory Maker--will see the images without those marks. Not to worry, though, as soon as you download any image, it can go right into your phone's photo library, so sharing is a snap!
One of my favorite aspects of our Memory Maker is getting a surprise, classic image or two from the other side of the park. If my kids and their cousins decide to go on
Space Mountain a second time and the rest of us opt for quick snack, I don't miss that glimpse of the fun just as they are about to blast off.
Don't forget to download your favorite images soon because they expire 45 days from the date they are taken. You'll be able to look back on these memories for years to come and smile. In some cases, you might look back on something other than a smile...like that grown adult family member whose
The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror pic shows signs of absolute terror. Priceless. Those are my personal favorites!
Ellen, as you tour The Most Magical Place on Earth, making memories that are captured for a lifetime, enjoy every moment. As you plan your visit, be sure to send additional questions our way. We love to help!
