I am trying to link my military tickets to my account but the ticket number on both cards is a 13 digit number, not 12, 17 or 20 like the website asks. How do I enter a ticket number that is not one of the 10 ticket types shown by navigating with arrows.

    Hi Samantha! Welcome to planDisney.

On behalf of my fellow panelists, and my own military family, thank you for your service to our country. I know just how important it is for our military members to get a rest and enjoy some together time with the special people in their lives, and I’m so glad to hear you’re planning a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort.

Linking the Military Promotional Theme Park Tickets can be tricky because there are several different ticket versions out there. Let’s see if we can help resolve your question and get your tickets linked today.

Log in to My Disney Experience and select “Tickets and Passes.” From there, select the “+” or “add” and then “Link Tickets & Passes.” That screen is where you enter the ticket ID number, and it sounds like you’re having trouble finding your ticket from the sample ticket options displayed.

The ticket number usually appears on the back of your plastic ticket card or paper exchange certificate. It sounds like you might have a plastic ticket card with a silver scratch-off area; the scratch-off conceals 4 digits of the number for security reasons. Gently scratch that off to reveal your full ticket number. Once you’ve done that, try entering that full number into My Disney Experience. Once successful, you’ll select the Guest to whom you’d like to link the ticket. Follow those steps until each ticket is linked to each Guest in your party.

You may have already tried this, but if you have a plastic ticket with a barcode on the back, you can also use the My Disney Experience mobile app to scan the barcode. This will upload the ticket to your account.

If you’ve tried both of these and are still having trouble, you’ll need to call the My Disney Experience help desk at (407) 939-4357. The Cast Members there can help you get everything linked so you’re ready to focus on planning your days.

Once the tickets are linked, it’s time to make Disney Park Pass reservations. There’s a great video on the website that walks through that easy process. I’m sending pixie-dusted wishes that the rest of the process goes smoothly and you get all your plans in place so you can focus on the fun!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney, Samantha. I see you’re planning a summer vacation to The Most Magical Place on Earth, and you are going to love soaking up the Florida sunshine, cooling off with refreshing treats, and feeling the wind in your hair on your favorite attractions. Have so much fun!

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Robyn
