Hello! I am trying to link a family member's confirmation to my own account. I am a annual passholder and my family is out of state, so i want to be the one to manage everything. they created a account to buy tickets how do i add them to my account?

Hey there, hi there, Morgan! Welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad you've stopped by with such a great planning question.

The only thing better than a visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth is a visit with the ones you love. I'm so excited to hear that you have a magical family adventure at Walt Disney World Resort right on the horizon, Morgan. And while the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival is in full bloom?! YAY! You could not be visiting at a better time. Now, let's get this planning party started!

To link a family member's My Disney Experience account and share plans together, you must first connect via your Family & Friends List. I find that the easiest way to do this is on the My Disney Experience app, and I'm happy to walk you through the steps. First, have your family member sign in to their My Disney Experience app, tap the three-line menu icon at the bottom of the screen, scroll down, tap "My Profile" and then "Show My Linking Code." Your family member should then screenshot their unique linking code and send it your way. As Tiana says, you're almost there!

Once you have your family member's linking code, log in to your My Disney Experience app, tap the three-line menu icon, scroll down, tap "My Profile" and then "Family & Friends List" at the top. Scroll down, tap "Add a Guest" and select "Scan their linking code" to connect using the linking QR code you were just sent or manually enter the code. Just be aware that your family member's unique code expires within 30 minutes, so you will want to link it right away.

Now, repeat this step for every Guest in your party who has their own My Disney Experience account. If you would like to link to Guests who don't have a My Disney Experience account but are linked to another family member, Hakuna Matata! It means "no worries." Once you are linked to the current manager of the plans, you can simply tap "Add a Guest" and select "Find through my connected Guests" to find and connect to other Guests in your party. Speaking of parties, it's almost party time!

Once everyone is linked to your Family & Friends list, you will be able to include the whole family in your plans, such as Theme Park Reservationsdining reservations, Enchanting Extras, Disney Genie+ Lightning Lane selections and more. Let the magic begin!

Morgan, I hope this helps, and I hope you and your family have the most magical and memorable time together. Please feel free to stop by any time with any questions you may have.

    Blue skies and sunshine,

    Mandy
