Howdy! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question!
Three ChEARS to you, Nancy, for booking your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! Isn't it great to have a fabulous vacation to look forward to? I don't know about you, but I have a serious case of wanderlust, so I find it always helps to have a trip on the calendar, so I can count down the days until I'm off on my next adventure! So, let the countdown to your magical Walt Disney World vacation begin! Woo hoo!
It sounds like you're looking to link your theme park tickets to your My Disney Experience account. Well, I can certainly help with that! Linking your tickets is actually super simple, all thanks to the super handy My Disney Experience mobile app.
But first, we will need to know if your theme park tickets were purchased as part of a Walt Disney World vacation package or just on their own. If the tickets were purchased as part of a package, follow the steps below:
- First, locate your purchase confirmation which you would have received at the time of booking.
- Once you have that handy, open up the My Disney Experience app and open the menu by clicking on the three stacked lines in the bottom right corner.
- Click on "Tickets and Passes."
- Then, click on "Link Tickets & Passes" and "Room with Tickets."
- Fill in your confirmation number and the last name on your reservation, and you are all set!
If the theme park tickets were purchased on their own, you would also have received a ticket order confirmation email. On the email, you will see a bar code with a long number underneath - this is your ticket number. Once you have that, you can easily link the tickets in your My Disney Experience app by following these steps:
- First, log into your My Disney Experience account.
- Next, open the menu by clicking on the three stacked lines in the bottom right corner, and click on "Tickets and Passes."
- Then, click on "Link Tickets & Passes" and enter the number under the barcode manually or click on "Scan Code" to scan the bar code from your confirmation.
That should do the trick, and you will be all linked up!
Now that your tickets are linked to your account, you can start booking your Park Pass Reservations. As a reminder, a reservation is required for the first park you plan to visit each day. Then, if you’ve added the Park Hopper Option to your ticket, you can hop over to another park after 2 p.m. each day. To make your Park Pass Reservations, click on the “+” in the middle of the app navigation bar and click on “Make a Park Reservation.” From there, click on “Theme park Tickets,” and a separate browser window will open. You can then select the members of your party, the date of your visit, and the park you would like to reserve.
I do hope this has been helpful, Nancy. Please feel free to pop back over with any other questions as you finalize your vacation plans. We would love to help you make the absolute most of your Walt Disney World Resort Vacation!
Until next time
Diana
