    Hi, we are trying to get a last minute idea of price, but are having trouble putting our military discount onto the price. How do we go about this??

    Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.

    I recommend calling Disney directly.  I find it is much easier to work with a Disney Cast Member when working with military discounts.  Also, be sure to look at the promotional military tickets being offered; they are a great deal in addition to the rooms discounts.  You should also compare the price you can get through Disney with the Shades of Green, which is an Armed Forces Recreational Center located in the heart of Walt Disney World.  While I don't think the Shades of Green can compare to any Disney Deluxe Resort, it is still a nice place to stay with relatively large rooms.

    Another option is to work with an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner.  He or she is a travel agent that specializes in trips to Walt Disney World, to Disneyland, onboard the Disney Cruise Line, and with Adventures by Disney.  He or she will be able to help you with military discounts and with comparing your various options!
