In trying to keep costs down we are taking picnic into parks on 2 days when we having evening dinner reservations (visiting Easter 2012). Do you have any suggestions on where to sit and eat at EPCOT and MK? Thank you x

    Hi Claire!

That's a great idea to save money while on vacation at Walt Disney World!  In the Magic Kingdom, there's a bunch of picnic tables outdoor right outside the Space Mountain exit next to the railing that overlooks the Tomorrowland Speedway.  I've seen families sit here several times while eating their own lunches.  Several of them have umbrella's to keep yourselves shaded.  You can also take your lunches into any quick service restaurant.  There is no rule that  says you need to purchase their food to sit inside.  A nice quiet place to eat is on Tom Sawyer Island.  Board a raft and head on over.  Find a bench in a quiet spot and enjoy your lunch!

In Epcot, again you can take a seat in any quick service restaurant.  Find a bench anywhere along World Showcase Lagoon.  It's a beautiful view along the Lagoon and a great place to people watch!  There is a lot of outdoor table seating in most of the countries in the World Showcase.  Pick your favorite country and bon appetite!

    Have a magical day!
