Hello there, Jennifer. Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. As an annual passholder myself I am more than happy to answer any questions you might have regarding the program.
First off, if you are trying to purchase a brand new
Walt Disney World Annual Pass, you may be experiencing some difficulty and lack of information. This is because the sale of new annual passes has actually been temporarily suspended since the shutdown last spring. I don't have any information about when the program will be coming back for new Guests to purchase. On the plus side I don't think the program is gone for good because Guests with current Annual Passes are able to renew them at this time. If you were a Guest that opted for a refund on your annual pass when Walt Disney World was closed due to the pandemic last spring and summer, you are currently able to purchase a new pass as are Guests who have turned the age of 3 since the shutdown and have a parent with a current annual pass. Those new passes are being issued on a case-by-case basis at this time.
Being an Annual Passholder absolutely has some
great advantages that I hope you are able to take advantage of once you are able to purchase one, Jennifer. Annual Passholders are often given discounts on Walt Disney World Resort Hotel stays, complimentary parking at the Walt Disney World Theme Parks, discounts on food and merchandise and so much more. I've been an annual passholder for years now and love all of these program perks. My favorite perk has got to be the addition of the Memory Maker to my account. I love being able to have all of the pictures from attractions and PhotoPass photographers located throughout the Walt Disney World Theme Parks. The pictures are uploaded straight to the
MyDisneyExperience app for me to be able to share at no extra cost to me. Those pictures are priceless.
I know you probably have some specific questions about the Annual Pass program, Jennifer. If I didn't touch on them, I'd love for you to
come back here and ask me. Have a great day!
