Hi Sarah!
Welcome to planDisney for the very first time! So happy to have you onboard as you chart a course for an adventure at sea with your family. As you captain your cruise planning waters, t
hink of me as your first mate. So let’s get this (deck) party started!
So many variables factor into the pricing of your cruise, including itinerary, sail dates, and number of nights just for starters. Unless you choose a Concierge Royal Suite with Verandah on the Disney Magic or the Disney Wonder that sleeps up to seven Guests, you will need two staterooms to accommodate your family of 6. This is because the maximum number of Guests that non-Concierge staterooms can accommodate is 5 Guests.
The starting point for your quest should be to start an online search. At the top in the search bar on the
Disney Cruise Line website, enter the number in your travel party and how many staterooms you need. You can also narrow your options by port location, Disney ship, or destinations. You can even go so far as to choose your
stateroom category (Inside, Oceanview, Verandah, or Concierge). Once you click “Add to Cart” the site will then calculate the price for your itinerary and the required deposit.
My other planDisney tip is to consider booking
connecting staterooms. That way, you could leave the door open between the two staterooms during your cruise and feel more connected with your family members. The deck plans of each ship clearly indicate where the connecting staterooms are located. Read up on all the stateroom category descriptions to ensure you are getting the exact setup that you need for your party. Or you can just phone a friend and
contact a Disney Cruise Line Vacation Planning Specialist! I’m certain that they will be able to help you land on the best stateroom combination and give you all the potential options.
Sarah, cruise back to planDisney if you have any additional questions about booking or before you set sail. Wishing you grand adventures as you make magical memories with your family!
SEA ya real soon!
