Hi Maranda,
Welcome to planDisney!
With so many great experiences to have across the Walt Disney World Resort, I’d be more than happy to help your family think about options. I first visited the Walt Disney World Resort when I was four years old so I can attest, these memories will last a lifetime!
Staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel helps ensure that the magic continues even when you leave the Theme Parks. There’s a plethora of options from value to moderate to deluxe resorts which all have their own distinct styles and themes. They all have amazing pools for relaxation and some resorts even have splash pads for your smaller swimmers who might not be ready for the bigger pool. One of the standout benefits of staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel is
complimentary transportation around the Walt Disney World Resort. Whether you’re headed to a Theme Park, a Water Park, or Disney Springs, one of the dedicated Transportation Cast Members will get you there!
When it comes to the Theme Parks, some of my favorites as a child were (of course) in
Magic Kingdom Park. As you walk down Main Street U.S.A., I suggest popping into one of the merchandise shops and telling a Cast Members which of your children are on their first visit. No matter if it’s one or all three, you’ll get “First Time” visit buttons that they can wear throughout the vacation. These are always fun to wear, because you never know, something magical could happen. After you take your pictures in front of Cinderella Castle, walk around (to the left or right) to head straight into Fantasyland. There are a number of classic attractions for your little ones like "it's a small world", Peter Pan's Flight, Prince Charming Regal Carrousel, and Under the Sea ~ Journey of The Little Mermaid.
Disney Parks Blog also reported a number of character entertainment options coming to Magic Kingdom Park over the next few months. I’m so excited to see the Disney “Festival of Fantasy” Parade again! After all the entertainment and attractions, if your kids (or you) need a break make sure to visit one of the Baby Care Centers for a quick refresh.
There are also a number of child-friendly attractions across the other Theme Parks as well. Check out this
Travel & Visit Guide! Just select a Theme Park, then select “Little Ones”, and you’ll be on your way to seeing the best options for your family.
I hope these “Bits By Bryanna” are helpful as you look further into your vacation options.
