Well, hello there, Victoria! Just one more week before your trip to the
Most Magical Place on Earth. Booking
Lightning Lane passes is one of my very favorite things to do. And it means it's almost time to go on your grand adventure.
Oh, bother! I don't know what the Heffalumps and Woozles are doing to mess with your plans. Let's think, think, think and explore a few options.
The first step is to check your eligibility window. If you are staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection or other qualified hotel, you can book Lightning Lane passes seven days before your check-in date. Make sure you are both listed on the resort reservation. If you are not staying in one of these resorts, your window opens three days before your trip.
The next step would be to ensure your
MyDisney accounts are connected as "
Family & Friends." You can mark that one off the checklist.
Next, check for
theme park admission to make sure your tickets are linked to your accounts. Since you and your husband are connected, you should be able to see both of your tickets. Go to "
My Plans" and scroll to "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets." Select the "Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker" tab. Make sure each of you has tickets assigned.
If you have an Annual Pass or other type of admission that requires
theme park reservations, make sure you have the theme parks reserved.
If all of these check out and you cannot purchase Lightning Lane passes for both of you, I would call
My Disney Experience, MagicBand and MagicBand+ and ask for assistance.
Victoria, I hope you can solve this very puzzling puzzle. If you have any other questions as you make your very important plans, come see us again at
planDisney. Any day spent with you is my favorite day!
Wishing You a Smackerel of Something Sweet!
