Hi Dee!
How nice of you to help your friend with her planning! As you probably know, Walt Disney World offers many wonderful services for those with disabilities including
Stroller and Wheelchair Rental,
Rider Switch, Companion Restrooms and more. Take a look at the
Walt Disney World website for detailed information about these services and the best way to plan for them. Also, be sure to have her stop by
Guest Services near the Park entrance as soon as they arrive and request a
Disabilities Access Service Card. This is available to those who have a difficult time standing in a normal line, due to a disability. When they receive this card, they will also be given a return time for a
Ride or Attraction, based on current wait times. After they are finished with the first Ride or Attraction, they can visit one of several kiosks located throughout the Parks to request a return time for another one. This is a fantastic system that they can participate in all day long, every day they are visiting Parks. I have a special needs son and the Disability Access Service Card certainly makes SUCH a difference for him. I know your friend and her daughters will love it too!
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. Let us know if we can help you with any other planning tips. Have a magical day!
