Hi there! I am trying to help my mother in law with securing two tickets to Mickey’s Merry Christmas Party in Thursday Dec 11. What is the best way to accomplish this? Best, Ashlie

Welcome to planDisney, Ashlie! Thanks so much for coming to us with your question today.

It's so nice of you to help your mother-in-law attempt to get tickets to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party this month. Unfortunately, the party is completely sold out for the rest of the year, so there aren't any tickets left available to purchase. Your one remaining option is a long shot, but it's worth trying: on the day of the party you're trying to go to, stop by a ticket window or Guest Relations at Magic Kingdom and inquire if any last-minute tickets are available. It does happen from time to time due to small inventory adjustments, but it's not guaranteed, so think of it as a happy bonus if it works out, but definitely have other plans in place in the likely event that there are no tickets available to purchase.

The good news is that you can still pack in tons of Christmas magic without a separate ticket. Spend a day in Magic Kingdom to enjoy the gorgeous holiday decor, the Jingle Cruise, and Main Street, U.S.A. in full Christmas glow. Over at EPCOT, the International Festival of the Holidays brings Holiday Kitchens, storytellers around World Showcase, and the stunning Candlelight Processional. At Hollywood Studios, catch Sunset Seasons Greetings projections on the Hollywood Tower Hotel, and at Animal Kingdom, don't miss my absolute favorite holiday offering at Walt Disney World: the Merry Menagerie on Discovery Island.

Add a Disney Springs evening for the Christmas Tree Stroll, live entertainment, and a cocoa or cocktail under the lights; no ticket required! You can also do some resort hopping to check out all the themed trees, Beach Club's edible carousel, or Yacht Club's holiday train display. All are free to see and are wildly festive!

I hope this answers your question, Ashlie, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation!
