Hi, Sherry! The Disney Dining Plan is very simple once you get a hang of it! For a Table Service Credit, you get an entree, beverage, and dessert. You order off the regular menu and the price does not matter. If you are eating at a buffet or family style restaurant, these each count as 1 Table Service Credit per person. The only time it changes is if you are dining at a Signature Restaurant (California Grill, Cinderella's Royal Table, etc.)
Anything extra you order (appetizer, alcoholic or specialty beverages) plus the gratuity will be added to your bill and presented to you at the end of your meal. For a wonderful document detailing the Disney Dining Plan, click
HERE. I find it very helpful. You may even want to print it out and keep it with you as a resource.
No worries, your server will be very helpful and walk you through the procedure. Most importantly: enjoy all the delicious food waiting for you! And don't forget to make your Advance Dining Reservations by calling (407)WDW-DINE. Have fun!
