I am trying to give an employee some $ to buy tickets and a weekend at Disney.. I would like to give him a Disney $ card that he can use for tickets - or a gift card, or certificate only good for tickets or merchandise. Is there a card good for both?

    Hi there, Paula!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. You are so thoughtful and generous to think of giving someone the gift of a Disneyland Resort vacation. It truly is the gift that keeps on giving. I'm happy to inform you that there is, in fact, a card you can purchase that will satisfy your needs. Disney Gift Cards can be purchased online, at your local Disney Store, and at other locations such as Target. These are the best, because they can be used towards the purchase of theme park tickets, Disneyland Resort Hotel stays, merchandise, and dining throughout the entire Disneyland Resort. They can also be used at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and shopDisney.com. I love the safety of knowing you can also register your cards online if lost or stolen.

I honestly prefer to travel with Disney Gift Cards on vacations even for myself. By pre-purchasing them in the months before my vacations, I feel like I have a set budget of how much I want to spend and also ultimately spend less money during my trip. It's great not having to come home to a large credit card bill after vacation!

I hope this was helpful, and I truly wish your employee has the most magical trip.
