Hats off to you, Robert, and welcome to planDisney! I am all too familiar with the hunt for the perfect Disney headgear, and I remember searching high and low during the 50th Anniversary Celebration to find my hat that features Walt and Mickey in their "Partners" statue pose. My wife and I also got matching hats on our honeymoon to Walt Disney World back in 2017, and we affectionately refer to them as our "retiree hats." I have a woven straw golf hat that features Mickey Mouse on the band, and my wife selected a Minnie Mouse visor complete with ears and a bow. I have no doubt the right hat for you is out there waiting to be found!
There are tons of places on property to find hats, and one of my favorites is
Curtain Call Collectibles in Magic Kingdom. My friends and I found the most wonderful options at this location on a recent visit, and we were tempted to purchase the oversize stuffed Orange Bird hat! We have fantastic photos of everyone trying it on, and I'm smiling just thinking about all the fun we had. The store is filled with hat options of all kinds, and I bet there's a visor or two in there for you to try.
Another location that might have what you're looking for is
Prairie Outpost over in Frontierland. There are tons of hat styles here, and even options for customization. If you are planning on a day in Magic Kingdom, make sure to add a stop at this shop to your itinerary.
If you're looking to shop outside of the theme parks, Disney Springs will be your best bet for hat hunting. You can pop into
Chapel Hats which is adjacent to The Boathouse in The Landing section of Disney Springs, or head over to
World of Disney which is known for its vast selection of Disney merchandise, hats included!
I am wishing you a successful hunt for a visor no matter where you choose to shop, Robert! If you can't seem to find what you're looking for, please get in touch with a Cast Member. They may be able to direct you to the hidden gem that you're looking for. Take care, and happy shopping!
Stay magical,
Scott
