i have been trying to find out the times for live entertainments in Disney World- Parades, stage, character greetings, etc How can I know times in advance? Also, we are takeing a 21/2 year old granddaugter.Any sugestions on what to see and not see?

    Hi Donna!

The parade and fireworks schedule can be found on www.waltdisneyworld.com.  There is a tab at the top of your main page that says PARKS.  Click on that to get a drop down box.  There you can pick the park you are interested in.  When you select your park and are on its main page, look for the Calendar tab on the left side of your screen.  Click on that and it will take you to a monthly calendar.  You can adjust your month under the "View Month" box at the top right hand side of your calendar.  At that point all you have to do is to click on a specific day and it will list the times of all parades, fireworks, and any special event that is going on in that park on that day.

The character meet and greets are not released earlier than the day of.  They also change daily.  You can check with your resort before you decide on which park to go to if there is a specific character you are looking for.

I hope you have a wonderful time at Walt Disney World!

Magic Kingdom still takes my breath away, but my favorite place to be is on a Disney ship looking at the horizon and breathing in that crisp, clean ocean air!  I love planning Disney vacations for others and making sure it's more than they dreamed. Learn More About Marisol
