Hello, Cleopatra!
Welcome aboard, it's nice to meet you!
I love using
Disney Cruise Line ground transfers to get to Port Canaveral, it is so easy and then it seems like the fun starts just a little sooner! Transportation to and from the port can be arranged over the phone, so I recommend
calling to speak with a Cast Member to see options for your specific itinerary. It may be possible to arrange a private transfer from your hotel or to return to the airport to catch a transport there. I have also rented a car to drive to the port (there are places to return a car that will shuttle you to the port) or used a ride-share app. Give the Disney Cruise Line phone number a call and they'll talk you through it all!
You can also
book a pre or post-cruise hotel stay over the phone if needed. I highly recommend flying in at least one day early for your cruise, just in case there are delays in your travel plans. Better to get to Florida and relax than risk missing your vacation!
Another helpful way to prepare for your cruise is by checking the
suggested packing list. Everything is divided into sections by destination, so you can pack just the right items for your itinerary. You should also make sure to bring all the right
travel documents for your destination. We don't want any waves when you're boarding the ship!
I hope this information helps you finish up your cruise plans, Cleopatra. Happy sailing!
Keep moving forward!
Amanda
