I am trying to find out if there is a service to have a Disney character call on Christmas to tell your grandkids they are going to Disney World. Is there that service anywhere?

Hello Alisa! I’m not sure that there is a better gift on Christmas morning than sharing with children that they will be going to the Walt Disney World Resort! My wife and I gave that surprise to our kids last Christmas morning! Little did they know that we were boarding a plane just a few hours later to spend Christmas night at the Most Magical Place on Earth!

While there is not a service available for a Disney character to make the big announcement, there are some creative ways to surprise the kids or grandkids! Last Christmas, we wrapped our children’s MagicBands and saved them as the last gift to open on Christmas morning! That was really fun!

In the past we’ve also surprised the kids by giving a t-shirt with their favorite character or, when they were younger, a new stuffed animal of their favorite character might have been holding a special note. We’ve also done a scavenger hunt through the house that eventually ended with the boys finding their MagicBands!

I hope these ideas for how to provide the perfect Disney surprise are helpful with your planning! A visit to shopDisney.com might also spark some imaginative ideas on how to provide the perfect surprise for your grandkids!
