We are trying to find rooms for a few nights before a cruise that is happening just after the holidays. We have 14 total family members, and not all arriving on the same day. How can I find a place to accommodate us all? We know we are planning late.

Hi there, Krista! Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney--we're here to help with your vacation planning however we can. I'm happy to talk through some possibilities to accommodate your family for a few days at Walt Disney World Resort before you head off on an adventure at sea!  Let's dive right in!

The December holidays are a very busy time at The Most Magical Place on Earth, with Guests traveling from around the world to enjoy the sights and sounds of the season. But don't fret! In looking around at some different options at the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels, it appears that several locations have rooms available for the nights leading up to Christmas Day.  There is not an accommodation option large enough for a party of 14--the 3-Bedroom Grand Villas available at certain Disney Vacation Club resorts will only fit a party of 12 adults plus 1 infant.

In searching online, I saw availability at many of the Resort Hotels, including Family Suites at Disney's Art of Animation Resort. While you may not be able to fit your entire crew, you could book a few rooms at one resort and request that they be located near each other. I recommend calling to book, as the Cast Members will be able to discuss your options and easily add any requests you may have.

If you are sailing with Disney Cruise Line, you can add a Walt Disney World hotel stay to your package by calling DCL. You can also add ground transportation from your Disney hotel directly to Port Canaveral--I always choose this option as it takes so much stress out of our departure day!

Krista, I hope this information is helpful for your planning purposes--I am sure your family is going to enjoy a very magical holiday together this year!  Thanks again for visiting planDisney, and please reach out again anytime if we can help with other questions to add a little extra pixie dust to your travels.
