I am trying to find out what room to book at Animal Kingdom. It will be my daughter's 9th bday and she loves giraffes. We will only be staying 1 night and not going to the park. What is the best view and value.

    Hi Craig,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking a question about my absolute favourite Walt Disney World Resort hotel, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge!

If your daughter loves giraffes, then you’re in luck: giraffes are the one animal that can be found in all of the savannahs around the resort. I would highly recommend booking a Savanna View Room for your upcoming one-night “staycation” to celebrate her birthday.

One small tip: make sure to ask for a room on a lower floor (2nd or 3rd floors are the best). I find that you get a better view of the animals themselves, one that is less obstructed by the top of the trees as is often the case on the higher floors.

I hope my answer helps you plan a wonderful birthday treat for your daughter. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
