Trying to find out if the parks are open later during the week of Christmas or if they have the extended hours at all? Also, what it the weather usually like?

As the Christmas holiday nears, the parks do stay open longer.

In December 2007, the Magic Kingdom hours were:
    December 22 -9:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m.
    December 23-28 -9:00 a.m. - 12:00 a.m.
    December 29-31 -8:00 a.m. - 1:00 a.m.

The Evening Extra Magic Hours on December 23, 28 and 30, added 3 extra hours to those evenings (or should I say early mornings!!).

Morning Extra Magic Hours occurred from December 23 - 31.

The Wishes fireworks display was shown at 8:30 or 9:00 p.m. each evening. From December 29-31, Fantasy in the Sky was displayed at 11:50 p.m.

Epcot’s hours were also increased and even gave visitors increased time in Future World.
    Future World:
    December 25 -9:00 a.m. - 9:30 p.m.
    December 26-30 -8:00 a.m. - 9:30 p.m.
    December 31 -8:00 a.m. - 1:00 a.m.

    World Showcase
    December 25-30 -10:00 a.m. - 9:30 p.m.
    December 31 -9:30 a.m. - 1:00 a.m.

    Illuminations hours were:
    December 1-30 -9:30pm
    December 31 -7:30 & 11:40pm

Hollywood Studios was open December 23-30 until 10 p.m. and December 31 until 1 a.m. Animal Kingdom was open until 8 p.m. Watch the December calendar (and Extra Magic Hours) to be released around the first of July.

Average temperatures are highs in the low 70s and lows in the low 50s. Expect a trace of rain and morning fog here and there. Last year there were a few days in the 80s but this is not the norm.
