Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jen!
Happy birthday to your daughter! I celebrated my birthday at Walt Disney World a few months ago and it was truly the BEST DAY EVER. I'm wishing your daughter so much magic on her special day.
Ah, the sad saga of the broken Walt Disney World Resort souvenir mug. So many of us on the Moms Panel have experienced this sadness, and we are rooting for a magical resolution.
The first place I'd check is
Disney Floral & Gifts. While they offer many gift basket options, their Magic Makers will also customize, and it's worth a call to them at (407) WDW-GIFT to share your vision. Provide as much information as you can – if you still have the mug and it has a code on the bottom, that will be a big help to them. As someone who has received an in-room celebration, I can tell you: it's such a special feeling!
If that option doesn't work, reach out to the Cast Members in Merchandise Guest Services at (877) 560-6477 or by emailing merchandise.guest.services@DisneyParks.com. Provide as many details about the mug as you can – where and when it was purchased, any numbers or information on it, and a detailed description or photo. They may be able to find out if it's still available, or if there is something comparable.
I'm sending so much
Citrus-Swirl-flavored and orange-colored pixie dust for your birthday mug quest! Have so much fun on your birthday visit to
Disney's Animal Kingdom, and don't forget to get a birthday button from Guest Relations so your daughter can get birthday wishes from fellow Guests and Cast Members throughout her big day. Party up!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
