Welcome to planDisney, Saba!
Summertime will be here before we know it, and it would be fabulous to have a voyage with Captain Mickey on the calendar. We can definitely talk cruising and make that happen! A Disney cruise is already a DREAM come true, but all the more so when traveling to my favorite Bahamian paradise,
Castaway Cay.
With a family of six setting sail on the high seas, I understand why you’d like to have
connecting staterooms. The good news is that the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy each have over 500 connecting doors that allow for staterooms to be connected. And since you will be searching for an accessible room that adjoins another stateroom and your dates are flexible, you should have no trouble finding two staterooms that meet your specifications.
One way to narrow your search is to check the
deck plans link and choose your ship in the upper left-hand corner. Since you plan on sailing on a 3 or 4 night itinerary from Port Canaveral, most likely that will have you sailing on the Disney Dream. You COULD spend time on the Disney Cruise Line website searching multiple cruises to get the combination you want. But my recommendation is to simply call and
speak with a Disney Cruise Line representative and let them help you. I think this will streamline the process and get you booked much sooner!
Since we are talking staterooms, did you know that Disney Cruise Line features complimentary
24-Hour Room Service? Fun fact: Even though they are not listed on the menu, Guests can have Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bars delivered to their staterooms. My kiddos practically flipped out when they had those for dessert while watching a Disney cartoon before bed!
Saba, I hope this has got you pumped up as you finalize your plans. Cruise back to planDisney if you have any additional questions.
Happy Sailing!
