I am trying to find out if there is a mall close to WDW? Where I live there is a "mall" but it only has 8 stores. My daughter and I would like to go to a REAL mall, one with LOTS of stores!! Are there good deals, is it worth visiting??

    Hi, Alisha!

Shopping...one of my very favorite things to do!  There is so much great shopping in and near Walt Disney World! I recently took a trip to WDW with Disney Mom Joanne and we planned an extra day JUST for shopping!

At WDW, you will want to make sure to plan time for Downtown Disney.  You will get so much enjoyment out of The World of Disney Store!   Other stores in Downtown Disney include Once Upon a Toy, Lego, Little Mismatched.

Off WDW property, there are 2 great outlet malls:
-8200 Vineland Ave in Orlando, FL  32821
-4951 International Drive in Orlando FL  32819

    and for a regular mall:
    The Florida Mall
8001 S Orange Blossom Trail in Orlando FL  32809

I really enjoy these outlets!  I always seem to find more deals than I planned on and have to stuff my suitcase!  I hope you have as much fun.  Happy shopping!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
