Ahoy there, Jenifer! Welcome aboard planDisney.
It’s always fun talking to a fellow Florida resident. The chill in the air today has me dreaming of my next Disney Cruise. The weather in January in the Bahamas is sure to be stunning!
Driving to the port has its advantages because you don’t have to worry about luggage restrictions. Unlike airlines, Disney Cruise Line doesn’t have a luggage weight limit. According to the
Cruise Contract, each Guest may bring a reasonable amount of clothing aboard the ship, not to exceed two bags per person.
Your luggage will arrive at your stateroom later in the afternoon. You might want to pack a swimsuit, coverup, and sunscreen in your day bag so you can take a ride on the
AquaMouse – Disney’s water coaster at sea!
Mickey and Friends Festival of Foods and
Marceline Market near the pools are two perfect lunch options. The pulled pork and macaroni and cheese are my favorites from Mickey’s Smokestack Barbecue.
There is a size restriction for your carry-on luggage. It must be small enough to fit through the security scanner and should not exceed 22 inches high, 14 inches wide, and 9 inches deep. Remember that you do have to carry it around until your stateroom is ready.
Jenifer, I hope you PACK in as much fun as possible! Please come back to planDisney if you’d like to chat about Disney cruising again.
SEAS the adventure!
