I am trying to find out if you book a package - passholder so only room and dining no tickets- what happens if you have a medical emergency and have to leave early can you get a refund? thanks for your help

    Hi Faith,

I'm sorry that you're anticipating a chance of a medical emergency happening during your vacation. While I know that most resort operators, Walt Disney World included, try to work with a guest when an emergency occurs, there is one way to be certain you are covered. You could purchase trip insurance. There is Trip Insurance available from Disney Destinations but you could purchase it from another vendor as well. Several companies offer trip insurance and it usually isn't too costly. If you are a member of an auto club like AAA you might check with them to see what they offer. Wherever you purchase it, I would review the policy carefully to make sure it would cover your situation.

I hope nothing will interrupt your vacation, but I certainly understand wanting to be prepared! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Be sure to let us know if you have any other questions!

    Wishing you a magical day,
