We are trying to find the best room choice on the monorail: 2 adults + a 2.5yo. We need a door b/w his crib and our room. Do we have to book 2 BR villa or 2 adjoining rooms? Or are there 1BR suites that have an actual doorway b/w bedroom and living area?

    Hi Steve,

If you are interested in staying on the monorail, and would like a one bedroom villa that has a separate bedroom and living room, I suggest Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort.  This magnificent new property has fantastic views of the Magic Kingdom and some of the most upscale accommodations at Disney.  I had an opportunity to tour the Tower just before it opened and was amazed.  The one bedrooms at Bay Lake have a separate bedroom and living room area (with a door between them), a full-kitchen, two full baths, a washer/dryer and dining area.  The one-bedrooms sleep five, so there will be plenty of room for your family of three.  You can put your son's crib in the living room in the evening.

Staying on the monorail will make getting to and from the Magic Kingdom (where I suspect you will spend the bulk of your park time with your little guy) a snap.  In addition to riding the monorail, you can also walk to the park via a short (5-7 minute) walkway from the resort.

    Have a magical trip!
