Hi Patty! Disney does offer many great options in their resorts for all families and it can become confusing as to which one best suits your needs. You can
compare resorts in the same category on the main website,
www.disneyworld.com, but I find that most guests end up choosing a resort that fits the theme they are interested in the most.
The deluxe resorts will have queen beds and a few rooms will have a king bed. My favorite resorts in this category are the Yacht and Beach Club, Grand Floridian, and Polynesian. The Yacht and Beach Club has a great pool area called Stormalong Bay and many feel it is the best on property. Your kids would love the sandy bottomed pool areas. When making your room request and reservation please note that you need a room with the two queen beds for your visit.
The moderate resorts are very nice but only one will have two queen beds in the rooms and that is Coronado Springs resort. The other locations will have two double beds. The same will be in the value resorts. The cabins in Fort Wilderness will have a bedroom with a double bed and a bunkbed and then a double murphy pull down bed in the living room.
Your final option to consider is one of the many villa rooms. They will have all kinds of different room situations with some having a pull out sofa in the living room or extra bedroom attached. Families do love these as they come with kitchens allowing them to keep drinks and simple perishables ready for breakfast and snacks.
