Hiya, Julia!
Welcome to planDisney and thank you so much for stopping by with your question. How exciting that you are planning a large family gathering at Disneyland. Sharing the magic with loved ones of all ages is one of the best ways to enjoy the magic. I like to say you are never too young or old for Disney. There is something for every age and stage at the theme parks and enjoying it together sure makes lifelong memories!
Julia, because of the size of your group and the accommodation needs you may have with probably wanting to be in rooms close to one another, I would recommend calling
Disneyland Reservations to speak with a Cast Member on the phone. If you just want Hotel Reservations, I would recommend the Hotel Reservations team but if you would like to add tickets, you can contact the Vacation Packages team.
They would be best able to help you go through different accommodation options depending on your budget, needs, etc., and be able to find something that will work for your family. You can also check out the current
Special Offers & Discounts page as there may be an offer here that may work for you. For example, if any member of your family is a member of the Military, there are special rates for hotel and theme park tickets, as well as some current Resort discounts depending on when and where you are booking. But the Reservations Cast Members can help you with this, as well as book a package for you that includes hotel and theme park tickets. They can also advise you on when you can make
Advance Dining Reservations as well, as getting those for a larger group may need a little extra assistance.
One tip I have for a large family or multigenerational family vacation, Julia. Our family plans for one activity to do together a day, be it an attraction, a special meal, or even a gathering in one room at the end of the day to talk about all the magic we had. Then, during the other times of day, we split up into smaller groups so everyone can enjoy the attractions of their choice or spend their vacation doing whatever fills their bucket with pixie dust. I do recommend gathering your 'ohana for a
PhotoPass picture of your whole group in front of the Disneyland Castle. It's a great way to capture the moment of this special vacation.
I hope this helps you, Julia! If you have any further Disney vacation planning questions, stop back and see me here and I'll be so happy to help you. Wishing you and your family the most magical celebration on earth.
See ya real soon!
