trying to find the best deal for So Cal res. Since it's just myself & my 8yr old but only see deals for 3days I can't afford to miss so many days from work & he school. Will there be any single day deals? Or at least 2day we can save for

    Hey Cynthia!

Thank you for bringing your question here to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I see you're planning a trip to the Happiest Place on Earth!

We’re so lucky to be Southern California residents with the Disneyland Resort right at our fingertips. The SoCal Resident Ticket is back and better than ever! It is the best deal you will find for Southern California residents. You’ll have a choice of either a 3-day, 1 Park Per Day Ticket, with or without Disney MaxPass or a 3-day, Park Hopper Ticket, with or without Disney MaxPass. To take advantage of this special offer, you must be a resident that resides within ZIP codes 90000-93599 and Northern Baja California residents within ZIP codes 21000-22999. Proof of residency is required for purchase and admission which could be a valid government-issued ID, such as a California Driver License or Identification Card.

I see you mentioned that you didn’t want to miss so many days of work and school for your 8 year old. The SoCal Resident Ticket timeline is unique and you will have until May 21st, 2020 to use your visits. They do not have to be used for three days in a row and can be used for three separate visits spread out until May 21st, 2020. That would give you enough time to plan your visits on the weekends when school wasn’t in session and coordinate with your work schedule as well. I think you would get a lot of value out of the SoCal Resident Ticket and with Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance set to open in less than a week and the new daytime parade “Magic Happens” opening at the end of February, it is the perfect time to visit the Disneyland Resort.

Cynthia, I hope that the flexibility of using the SoCal Resident ticket over three separate days provides you with a good option to visit the parks.

Remember, always believe in the magic!
