Donna from NY Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I have been trying to find the availability chart/calendar for vacation planning . Where do I find that?

Welcome to planDisney, Donna. As you plan your trip to this Disney Wonderland, knowing all the dates helps us from being the White Rabbit, hopping around, "I'm late! I'm late! For a very important date!"

These dates and schedules can help keep you on track for all the very important dates:

    • Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservations can be booked online by simply starting with your desired dates of travel and the size of your travel party. The site will return a list of available resorts based on your search criteria.
    • Theme Park tickets can be purchased online for the number of days you want to visit the theme parks. These are date-based tickets, so you select the days you want these to be used. These tickets do not require you to make theme park reservations.
    • Theme Park Reservations are required for Annual Passes or other tickets that are not date-based, such as the Military Salute tickets or cheerleading or band group tickets. This site has a calendar that shows theme park availability based on whether you have an Annual Pass, Walt Disney World Resort reservation, or a ticket that still requires a reservation. If you have an Annual Pass, this calendar will also indicate "Good to Go" days, days you do not need a reservation for that park.
    • As the Cheshire Cat says, "Some go this way. Some go that way. But as for me, myself, personally, I prefer the shortcut." An easy way to get to this calendar is on the My Disney Experience App, under "Tickets and Passes" >> "Admission Calendar." You have all the park dates available, right on your phone and just a few clicks.
    • Disney Resort Dining reservations can be booked 60 days in advance. If you are staying at a Disney resort, you can book every day of your stay, up to 10 days, 60 days before your arrival date. Like the resorts, you can search based on the date, number of people in your party and desired meal time, and the site returns a list of possibilities. This reservation system has recently been updated to show you all the times a restaurant is available for your party size, which is a great feature for planning.
    • The Park Hours and Events calendar is updated on a rolling basis, and it will have information about your trip dates closer to the fall. I really like this calendar as it shows theme park hours, Early Entry HoursExtended Evening Theme Park Hours and any special ticketed events.
Most everyone is mad(ly happy) here! I hope you have a magical trip and, like Alice, return home wanting to write a whole book about this place.

Cheers and very merry un-birthday to you!
    Jana
