Hiya Dawn - welcome to
planDisney!
I'm so glad you found us and that you decided to stop by with some questions for our team of panelists. We love to help Guests just like you plan magical Walt Disney World Resort vacations!
The return of
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is such exciting news! I'm so happy to hEAR that you and your crew are thinking about attending - it truly is a ghoulishly good time! My crew loves the special food and entertainment offerings, and because capacity is limited, wait times on many attractions are reduced!
This event is separately ticketed and does
not require you to also hold a
Park Pass Reservation or regular
Theme Park Ticket. A ticket for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party unlocks admission to
Magic Kingdom Park starting at 4 p.m. on the day of the party, giving you extra time to experience the "normal" park before the happy haunts come out at 7 p.m.!
Of course, if you want to visit any Theme Park earlier in the day, you'll need to purchase a Theme Park Ticket and make a Park Pass Reservation. For example, if you wanted to spend the day at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Park before the Party, you'll need a Theme Park Ticket and Park Pass Reservation for Animal Kingdom for that day. You'd then move over to Magic Kingdom any time after 4 p.m. with your Party ticket, or starting at 2 p.m. if you add the Park Hopper Option to your Theme Park Ticket for that day.
Party days are also a great way to save money and enjoy the amenities of your
Disney Resort during the day instead of visiting the Theme Parks. Or, you might want to spend the day shopping at
Disney Springs or experiencing one of the
Water Parks before heading to Magic Kingdom at 4 p.m.!
I hope this information is helpful as you continue planning your crew's spooktacular visit.
Please let me know if I can help answer any other questions!
