Hello, I am trying to figure out how to reserve different events at Disney. I have tickets for the Magic Kingdom June 9th and the Hollywood Studios June 11th. Do I need a reservation for events like the Parades (cavalcades) on Mainstreet?

    Howdy Brett!

Welcome to planDisney!  You will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort in less than a month!  I know you are ready to be at the place “Where Dreams Come True!”  Thank you for stopping by and sharing your question with us!

I have great news for you!  Once you enter the Magic Kingdom Park and Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you will have access to all the attractions without making any pre-arrangements, except one.  You will notice on your My Disney Experience mobile app that there is an option for Virtual Queues.  When you click on this option, you will see that you can join a virtual queue for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance.  The virtual queue distributes boarding passes at 7 A.M. and 2 P.M. each day.  You can sign up for the 7 A.M. virtual queues from your hotel room, but when you sign up for the 2 P.M. queue, you will need to be in Disney’s Hollywood Studios theme park.  These queues fill up in seconds, so make sure everyone is connected in your My Disney Experience Family & Friends List and have your fingers ready to hopefully score your boarding pass as soon as the virtual queue opens up!  “May the Force be with you!”

As long as you have all of your Disney Park Pass Reservations all set, then you are almost ready to take off to Neverland!  If you have not made your Advanced Dining Reservations, then you still have time!  You can make these reservations from your My Disney Experience mobile app.  If you have trouble completing your Advanced Dining Reservations, I recommend calling the Walt Disney World Resort and speaking with a Cast Member in dining to booking your dining experiences!  If you have not added Memory Maker to your vacation, you still have time to add this option to your vacation, also!  Memory Maker is the best way to capture an unlimited amount of photos at a great price!  My family and I love Memory Maker and all the fun this feature adds to our vacations!

As you continue to plan your vacation, check out the Disney Parks Blog!  If you have any more questions, if you see something on the Disney Parks Blog, as you make your dining reservations, and so much more, please come back to planDisney!  We are always here to help you with all of your planning questions, Brett!

    See Ya Real Soon,
    Tamela
