Trying to figure a plan of action. Staying at POP and have a breakfast reservation at GF Cafe at 8:40. If I got on the first MK bus and the the GF bus or resort monorail from there, do you think I would make it in time?

    Hi Betty!

    Welcome to planDisney!

I am so happy to see that you will be visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth next week!  I cannot wait to return to Walt Disney World.

I honestly think that using Disney Resort Transport to take you to your breakfast reservation for 8.40am will be very tight, if not impossible.  Disney buses will start operating from Disney's Pop Century Resort around 45 minutes prior to park opening.  Magic Kingdom Park is scheduled to open at 9.00am for the week of your visit - you can check the most up-to-date opening times on the calendar here.  If you can board the very first bus (and please remember that with social distancing, buses are able to load fewer passengers than usual) this would depart from your hotel at around 8.15am.  With the transfer to the monorail, including waiting times, I feel you just won't have enough time.  I would recommend you use a taxi to take you directly to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa - you can enquire at the Front Desk of your hotel, and ask them to call you a taxi.  Alternatively, you could try and make a later reservation at the Grand Floridian Cafe?  Cancellations happen all the time, so keep checking back for a later slot.

On your return to your hotel when you have more time, you could take the bus to Disney's Hollywood Studios, then enjoy the Disney Skyliner back to Disney's Pop Century Resort.  This is an attraction all of its own, offering wonderful views around the Resort while you travel along.

During the phased re-opening of Walt Disney World, we may need a little more considered and careful planning, but our vacations to Walt Disney World Resort can still be a magical experience.  Please read this information about Returning to a World of Magic, and keep your eye on the Disney Parks Blog for all the latest official updates as they are announced.

Please know we are working to be able to answer your questions as quickly as possible, and we look forward to providing an update as soon as we have more information to share.  Come back and ask as many questions as you like!  We are always happy to help you plan your vacation.
