Ahoy there, Dani!
Welcome aboard planDisney! A 7-night Alaskan sailing,
the Disney Wonder, and endless family memories sounds like the perfect way to cap off summer and sail right into fall magic. There’s nothing quite like sipping hot cocoa on deck while gazing at those majestic glaciers—it’s truly a cruise that feels straight out of a storybook.
Now, while entertainment schedules are always subject to change (so be sure to keep an eye on your
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once you’re onboard), I can give you a sneak peek at the enchanted evenings planned for your voyage.
Your adventure begins with Formal Night on Day 2 (at sea). It’s like your very own royal ball at sea—minus the glass slippers! This evening pairs beautifully with the Captain’s Welcome Reception, where you’ll have a chance to meet some of the ship’s officers and sometimes even enjoy a few complimentary beverages. My family loves this night for the photo ops—you’ll feel like part of Belle’s ballroom scene, twirling in style while the cameras capture the moment.
Then, on Day 3 (Stikine Icecap), get ready to “let it go” with the
Frozen Deck Party. From the dazzling winter décor in the Atrium to the Nordic-inspired dinner menu, you’ll feel like you’ve stepped into Arendelle. The evening caps off with a deck party where Elsa brings her icy powers to life—it’s one of those nights where Disney storytelling shines as bright as Olaf’s warm hugs.
Finally, you’ll round out your themed evenings with Semi-Formal Night on Day 5 (Juneau). Think of it as Formal Night’s slightly more relaxed cousin—another chance to glam it up, snap gorgeous photos, and enjoy dinner with a touch of elegance. Of course, the choice is yours—if dressing down feels more comfortable after a day of adventure ashore, you’ll still fit right in.
I hope this helps as you chart your course for magical evenings on your Alaskan adventure. Knowing the schedule ahead of time
makes it easier to plan outfits, photo sessions, and even when to book special experiences so you can focus on the fun once you’re onboard.
Sea ya real soon as we ride the wave of summer’s final stretch in Disney style,
Dustin
