Bonjour, Emily! It is with deepest pride and greatest pleasure that I welcome you back to planDisney. Be our Guest! Our command is your request.
To add the Dining Plan or not to add the Dining Plan ... That is the question. I am so happy to see that the magic (and food) of
Walt Disney World Resort is calling, and you are answering the call by planning your magical (and delicious) adventure at The Most Magical Place on Earth. And since you are putting in the research to determine whether or not the
Disney Dining Plan is right for you and your family, your planning is off to a practically perfect start. I'm more than happy to help you decide!
When using the Disney Dining Plan, Guests ages three to nine must order from the restaurant's kids' menu, which includes dessert. I recommend going to
the Walt Disney World website and heading to the web pages of the restaurants where you and your family would like to dine. Find the menus and scroll down to the Kids' Menu. Sometimes, you will find a separate section for kids' desserts, and sometimes, the kids' dessert options will be listed under "Kids' Create-Your-Own-Selections." Then, you can see if the dessert options are something that your child will love. However, if you're dining at a buffet, your kiddo can grab any delicious dessert they would like (and as many as they would like)!
My favorite thing about the Disney Dining Plan is the all-inclusive feel it gives to the vacation. I can just show up, enjoy character dining, eat whatever I am in the mood for, and stay immersed in the magic without worrying about a dining budget. Now, that is a pixie-dusted vacation!
I hope this helps, Emily, and I hope you have a magical, memorable and delicious vacation, full of food and fun! Please stop by any time with any questions you may have.
Bon appetit,
Mandy
