Hello, I am trying to figure out when would be best to visit. The first week of November (before Vetrans Day), or the first week of December. Low crowds, cooler weather are important to us. Park hours, not really that big of a deal. Help?

    Hi Christa!

Between those two, I would go with the first week of December.  Both are low in terms of expected crowds and both are cooler, especially when compared to the hot and humid summer months.  However, the first week of December has the advantage of being during the holidays.  Walt Disney World Resort will be fabulously decorated in December; that includes both the theme parks and the resort hotels.  The first two weeks of December are really my favorite time of the year to visit, though its something we haven't been able to do in years because my children are in school at that time.

If you go in December, be sure to consider going to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.  It's a fun event on select nights in the Magic Kingdom.  It's definitely a "must do" if you've never done it before!

Good luck with your decision and write back if you have any more questions!
