Trying to figure out when the best time to go to WDW to enjoy the Christmas holiday season. Wanting low crowds, when do you suggest? Last 2 weeks of Nov, first 2 weeks of Dec? Been for Halloween, late Feb, early March, what weather should I expect? THANKS

    Hi Nicole,

Christmastime is such a wonderful time for a Walt Disney World vacation. The resorts are beautifully decorated, and some of my favorite events, like Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, are happening. Christmas can also be a very busy time to travel.

If you have flexibility, and are looking for the lowest crowds, I'd recommend early December. Thanksgiving is also a busy time, so if you can go after that, it will probably be less crowded.

Weather during this time of year varies. We went over Thanksgiving this past year, and experienced temperatures from 55 degrees to 80 degrees. The average high is in the mid 70s, but I'd definitely recommend checking the forecast before packing.

I hope that helps! Have a great vacation!
