I am trying to get a FastPass for a ride that is very popular. I tried at 12:01 a.m. to get a pass on the 30th day, and it was not yet a choice. At 7 a.m. they were all gone. At what time during the night does the 30th day become available as a choice?

Hi Dennis! Thanks for stopping by with your question about FastPass+. I'm glad you are trying to take advantage of this efficient, time saving service offered by Disney. My family loves to select experiences ahead of time so we know that we will be able to see our favorite attractions without waiting in a long line.

You can begin making your FastPass+ selections at 7:00 AM Eastern Time up to 30 days in advance of your visit; however if you are staying onsite at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, you are able to reserve FastPass+ experiences up to 60 days in advance of your check-in date. Some of the most sought after FastPass+ experiences are filled quickly by guests taking advantage of the 60 day advance selection period - one of the many benefits of staying at a Walt Disney World Resort. My advice, Dennis - keep checking! Often guests modify FastPass+ selections as vacation itineraries change closer to their travel dates. I have been able to secure FastPass+ times for popular attractions such as Frozen Ever After at Epcot and Toy Story Mania at Disney's Hollywood Studios a day or two before my visit.

Even if you are unable to secure a FastPass+ for your desired attractions, my favorite strategy to experience Walt Disney World's most popular rides is to arrive early to the parks. I think you'll find that if you aim to arrive about twenty to thirty minutes before the scheduled park opening, you will be able to ride a few attractions without too long of a wait. Be sure to check the Park Hours calendar for up to date information on operating hours, and remember that these hours are subject to change.

Finally Dennis, I see that you are from the Sunshine State. Walt Disney World has many special ticket and resort offers for Florida residents. Take a look, and see if any of them would work for you on a future stay. As a guest of a Walt Disney World Resort, you would be able to take advantage of many benefits, including an extended FastPass+ booking window.

Thanks again for stopping by with your question, Dennis. I hope you have a magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
