Hi, I am trying to get my family all together at Disney. I am looking at September 18th. I will need to purchase 6 airline tickets and then need to find a package where we can stay on the grounds, and have our meals included. This will be for 4 or 5 days

    Hi Doreen!

Thanks for visiting planDisney with your question!

It sounds like you have a magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation in the works for September! Planning a Disney vacation can be a lot of fun, but can also feel overwhelming because of all there is to see and do. During this time of Walt Disney World's phased reopening, it's important to stay informed about changing protocols and the most up-to-date policies for Guests.

My best recommendation for Guests wanting to book a Walt Disney World vacation at this time is to get in in touch with an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner. These Disney specialists are always in the know about the latest announcements and updates, and can help you build the Disney getaway of your dreams. The best thing about using a Disney Vacation Planner is that their expertise comes at no extra cost to you than if you book it yourself online! They can help you choose the best Disney Resorts Collection hotel for your travel party, secure Disney Park Pass reservations, purchase Theme Park Tickets, book Advance Dining Reservations, and basically take care of all of your vacation details across the board. Some Authorized Disney Vacation Planners can also handle booking your flights as well! The easiest way to find a great Disney Planner is through word of mouth from satisfied clients, or with a simple Google search of Authorized Disney Vacation Planners in your area. (The "Authorized" distinction is reserved for travel agents that have been specifically trained and certified by Disney to best be able to help Guests planning Disney vacations.)

Of course, there is always the option of booking your Walt Disney World Resort vacation yourself, using the official Walt Disney World website. The Chat feature comes in handy, and typically pops up for me when I'm on the site. You can chat in real time with a Cast Member that can answer any questions you have along the way! You also have the option to call Walt Disney World directly at (407) 939-5277 for assistance with resort/package booking and tickets. While the phone lines have amazing Disney "hold" music, call volume is very high right now and callers are experiencing longer than usual wait times.

At this time, Walt Disney World is not offering the Disney Dining Plan, where your meals are included and paid for in advance. My family loves the dining plan, and have high hopes that it will return soon! If you book a Disney vacation, and the dining plan returns before your trip, you can always add it to your reservation. Fingers crossed it will be making a comeback!
