Trying to download my digital DVC card for discounts, but it won't work! I called MDE tech and DVC. They could not help. I try to follow the directions from your other answers, but it says, "something went wrong" Advice?

    Hey There, Amanda!

Thanks for coming back to planDisney with your question.  I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble downloading your new Disney Vacation Club Digital Membership Card –– with your next Walt Disney World visit coming up soon, I'm sure you want to get things all set up so you can take advantage of all your Member Benefits once you arrive. While I can't guarantee that these will help, I'm happy to make a few suggestions to see if we can find a solution.

If you haven't already done so, the first thing I recommend doing is deleting the app and then downloading it again to your mobile device.  When I've had issues with the My Disney Experience mobile app in the past, this usually helps to solve the problem.  Also, you'll want to make sure that you don't have another Disney MagicMobile pass for yourself downloaded to your mobile wallet.  If so, you'll need to delete the existing pass and download a new one in order to include your DVC entitlements.  Finally, if you're connected to another Guest through your Friends & Family List, you might also try having them create a Disney MagicMobile pass for you in their own app.  After the pass has been created, they can tap "Select Passes to Share", followed by "Share via Messages" to send your pass to you as a text message.  Once you receive the pass, you should be able to save it directly to the digital wallet of your phone.

If none of these options work, you can also download a temporary DVC Membership Card, which expires 30 days after the date it's created, to use during your visit.  To download your temporary card, hover over the "My DVC" tab on the Disney Vacation Club website and select "My Dashboard" from the menu.  Under "My Memberships", click on "Membership Card/Identification" and then select "View Temporary Card" on the following page.  From there, you'll be able to print a temporary card to bring along with you during your stay.  I also suggest screenshotting a picture of the card to have on your phone as a backup.

Thanks so much for visiting us again at planDisney, Amanda.  I hope one of these suggestions helps to solve your tech troubles and I'm wishing you lots of Membership magic during your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort!
