Hello, Tara!
Thanks for sending your question to planDisney. I'm excited that you are planning a trip to Disneyland Resort during the
holiday season. It's my favorite time of year to be in the parks!
I'm guessing you are referring to one of those promotional emails sent to special Guests recently. They are a great deal! When you buy your ticket on the
Disneyland website, you should be brought to a park reservation page before you complete your purchase. If your preferred date isn't available, you should be able to look for other dates or exit the website before submitting your payment. If for some reason that doesn't happen, call the "
Tickets" line to get assistance from a Cast Member.
After buying your ticket, you may want to book a fun holiday meal! Dining at Mickey's Christmas Carol Feast at
Storytellers Cafe last year was a memorable experience for my family! Mickey's Christmas Carol is one of my family's favorite holiday movies, and we loved seeing the Disney Characters wearing their outfits from this classic show. Reservations can usually be made up to 60 days in advance on the
Disneyland app or website.
I also recommend purchasing
Lightning Lane Multi Pass during your visit. Many Guests enjoy visiting Disneyland during the holidays, and using Lightning Lanes can help maximize your time in the parks. This is especially true for attractions with seasonal overlays, such as
Haunted Mansion Holiday and
"it's a small world" Holiday.
Tara, have a magical visit to Disneyland! If you have additional questions, please send them our way.
Happy holidays!
Jen
