hello , so i am trying to make dinning reservations and i was wondering if its practical to have lunch or dinner in one park and then head to the other park since i have a park hopper ticket ? or will we waste alot of time in transportation ?

    Hi, Nour!

Welcome back to Disney Parks Moms Panel! Great question!

When you have a Walt Disney World Theme Park Ticket and add the Park Hopper Option, you give yourself the flexibility to visit one park in the morning and another in the afternoon. We do this often when we plan a breakfast or early lunch in one park, then exit for either another park or a swim back at our Walt Disney World Resort hotel. With the Park Hopper option, you can decide on a whim to head to a different park that same day, so if plans change, your Park Hopper has you covered.

To minimize time spent traveling, look at this map of Walt Disney World. You'll see that Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios are very close to each other--about a 15-minute walk, or an easy boat ride. As such, hopping between these parks is breeze. Similarly, guests can take the monorail from Magic Kingdom Park and transfer to the other monorail line at the Transportation/Ticketing Center. Minutes later, they'll be whisked away to Epcot, with minimal time wasted in transit.

The one park that is furthest from the others is Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. For that reason, we try NOT to park hop on the day that we are touring AK. With so many new things opening up at this location, you may want to linger and explore all day anyway. That is also a great day to try lunch or dinner at Sanaa, Boma or Jiko, all of which are a 5-minute bus ride away at either Animal Kingdom Lodge or Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas-Kidani Village.

Send more questions as you plan, Nour; we love to help!
