Trying to make dinner reservations at Sci Fi. We are a party of 7. The time I want is not available for 7 but is available if I split us into a party of 4 and a separate reservation for a party of 3. Will they seat us near each other if I split it?

    Hi Tina,

Unfortunately, that is not guaranteed, although Disney does do their best to keep your family together. I can tell you that as a family of 7, even when we have received the message that our "party may be separated" for dining, that has never happened (and we've gone many times). I would go ahead and make the reservation. Then, arrive earlier than your Advanced Dining Reservation time and ask the host or hostess if they can seat you together. If you book both of the tables under the same name, they will see that you are together. Inform them that you are willing to wait a bit longer to sit together (and be prepared to do that). The cars have several rows of seats, and you may have to wait for other people to finish at tables near each other to be seated together.

    Wishing you a wonderful vacation,
