I am trying to make dinner reservations but I don't understand how the meals work. The little entitlement box shows a number 1 under breakfast lunch and dinner. If it has a 1 under lunch and also a 1 under the dinner, is that 2 meals required from plan

Hello, Melody!  Welcome to the Moms Panel!

I can certainly understand how confusing that box can be, but once you figure it out, it is quite easy to understand.  First, look under the column for your dining experience.  Are you having breakfast, lunch or dinner?  Next, look at the specific dining plan you have purchased.  Look at the number in that column.  If it has a number one, then that dining experience is one credit per person.  If you see a number two, then be prepared to have two dining credits per person to be deducted from your Disney Dining Plan (DDP). Basically, where your two fingers meet, is the credit deducted per person from your DDP.  It's almost like being in math class when studying the X and Y axis points.
