Hey there Marc! Welcome to planDisney! I'm excited to hear that you are planning for your upcoming Disneyland Resort trip. It will be here before you know it!
Let's try to help you get some dining reservations squared away. I'm not sure why you were only seeing the current day's availability. I'm hoping it was just a temporary issue. First, let's start you off with success by making sure you are logged in to your Disneyland account. Then the easiest way to see available dining is to hover over "Things to Do" and then click "
All Dining". This will take you to a page that will list ALL dining locations at Disneyland Resort, including Downtown Disney. If there are specific dining locations you are hoping to get reservations at you can click on that Table Service location and check availability. If you want to see all of your options there will be an option on that main page with dropdowns to select your date, time, and party size. I suggest you choose specific times instead of the breakfast, lunch, and dinner options, as I have found that sometimes availability doesn't show up with those.
As Disneyland Resort continues its best to bring us the magic while keeping the health and safety of Guests and Cast Members their top priority, dining reservations may be limited. If you happen to fall short on reservations you've selected, don't give up. I have a few tips for you.
I have had success finding the dining reservations I want closer to my trip date. Guests tend to change plans and cancel reservations a couple of days before the start of their trip and even as close as 24 hours before in order to avoid the cancellation fee. I was able to get Carnation Cafe reservations three days before my last trip. The fried pickles did not disappoint!
You can also still try once you have arrived for your trip. While there are no guarantees, it doesn't hurt to go to the location when they open, and kindly ask if there is any availability that day. A few select Table Service locations also have the option to join the walk-up list on the
Disneyland app. This is my favorite way to get into
Oga's Cantina for a Fuzzy Tauntaun or take a break at
Lamplight Lounge - Boardwalk Dining for some Lobster Nachos and a craft beer.
Marc, one thing I know for sure is that The Happiest Place on Earth is never short of delicious snacks and meals to try. Your tummy should never be rumbly and there is always something sweet nearby, like at Pooh Corner. Give the Churro Toffee a try!
Thanks again for stopping by! We hope to see ya real soon!
