I am trying to make dining reservations for one but I am not getting availability, but when I check for 2, 3 or 4 people there's plenty of reservations. Can I book for 2 people and just show up as a solo?

Hi Becky! Welcome back to planDisney! I'm so happy you stopped by again to ask us another question.

A solo visit to The Happiest Place on Earth sounds like a great way to start the new year! Making Advanced Dining Reservations is one of my favorite parts of planning a Disney vacation. Typically, restaurants have tables for 2 or more, and if you make a reservation for just yourself you would very likely be seated at a table that seats two people. You can make a reservation for two people and modify it when checking in to reflect that you are the only adult dining. If you have a mobile device, you can check in for your dining reservation approximately 15 minutes before your dining time. If there are dining locations that still don't show availability for two people, you can always try to join a table service walk-up list using your Disneyland Mobile App or by speaking to a cast member at the podium located at the entrance of the restaurant.

Please feel free to stop by planDisney again if you have more questions for us before you arrive. We can't wait for you to be our guest, and we would love to help!

    Bon Appétit!
