Hi Lana! Welcome to planDisney.
Your sentence "I have made all other dining reservations for our trip" is music to my ears! I love Dining Reservation Day and the excitement of locking in all our hoped-for plans. From there, it's time to dream about all the deliciousness and count down to our Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Swoon!
I'm sorry you had trouble making your dinner reservation at
Nine Dragons Restaurant. I have had this happen, too - sometimes Stitch gets into the system and makes it impossible to complete a reservation, even when it looks available. When this happens, I usually switch my device - so, if I'm using the
desktop Dining Reservations site, I'll switch to the
My Disney Experience mobile app. Sometimes, switching browsers does the trick.
I just checked and I see availability at Nine Dragons, so I'm sending some pixie-dust your way that you're able to grab a reservation (or maybe you've already managed this since submitting your question). If you check and don't see availability, keep checking! I find that things open up about a week in advance as people begin to change their plans. If you do dine at Nine Dragons Restaurant, I recommend ordering the Jasmine Beer. My husband and I were waiting in line for Frozen Ever After this summer and needed something refreshing - he was able to get a cup from a festival booth and we both loved it (and I don't even drink beer!).
The China pavilion in Epcot's World Showcase is stunningly beautiful, and it's worth taking some time to explore the gardens as well as the inside of the pavilion. The
Reflections of China movie is gorgeous, and I loved learning about Shanghai Disney Resort's architecture and uniquely Chinese elements in the
House of the Whispering Willows exhibit. My family always plans to explore the various countries, trying snacks and taking lots of photos, on our EPCOT days.
Lana, thanks for bringing your question to planDisney. We're here to help if you have any further questions as you count down the days!
Wishing you much magic,
Robyn
